QA Engineer

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements and develop, modify, and execute feature test plans
• Maintain documentation of results and resolve product defects with engineers
• Configure and maintain personal test bed to perform functional and system tests

Qualifications

• BS/MS with 5+ years of experience
• Experience setting up, configuring and debugging networking equipment in the lab required
• Experience in using traffic generators, Linux-based protocol analysis tools (tcpdump, tshark, wireshark) required
• Ability to script simple config scripts or traffic scripts required
• Experience in test automation. Tcl/Expect is a plus
• Knowledge of L2/L3 networking protocols, including but not limited to VLANs, STP, RIP/OSPF, Policy-based routing, VRRP
• Prior experience testing TCP protocol is a plus
• Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment is a plus
