Software Engineer - Data Plane

Responsibilities:

• Work as part of Data plane software team
• Understand product requirements and prepare functional specification and design documents
• Implement and verify new features for the product
• Work with QA team to resolve issues found during product verification

Qualifications:

• BS plus minimum 5years experience in embedded systems
• Familiarity with open source tool-chain and debugging tools
• Expert level knowledge in C programming
• Hands on experience with L3/L4 network protocols, debugging issues related to packet processing
• Hands on experience with packet capture, analyzing captured packet data and troubleshooting connection issues
• Working experience with any of the advanced multi-core network processors
• Knowledge in Cavium Octeon network processor is highly desirable
• Strong analytic and problem solving skills
• Ability to write highly optimized and performance critical code
